Our family shares a great passion and love for all dogs, and especially for our Rhodesian Ridgebacks. It was close to 20 years ago when I first crossed paths with a Rhodesian Ridgeback and fell deeply in love with this magnificent breed. But due to my move from Europe to the US, almost a decade passed before I was able to bring this athletic breed into our home. My husband had previously owned Black Labs all of his life, but it took a 5 minute introduction to my friend's Ridgeback and my husband agreed, we knew that our first dog together would be a Ridgeback. This unique, smart, athletic, strong but gentle and cuddly breed captured both of our hearts forever. I feel blessed that I am able to have RRs in my life and I will forever be grateful to my breeder for entrusting me with our beautiful foundation bitch.

    Our mission is to respect the breed standard, the RRCUS code of ethics and to honor the hard work of the creators for this breed. They dedicated their lives to create this phenomenal breed and we do believe that our responsibility as a breeders is to protect their vision, to respect what they were bred for and to breed healthy, happy and sound dogs who will not only perform in show rings, in the field as a hunters dog or a therapy dog, who will in any avenue be a sweet and healthy companion to their new forever families. In our breeding program we look at 3 basic priorities:

2. TEMPERAMENT

3. BEAUTY

    Genetic HEALTH is our #1 priority.

#2 is TEMPERAMENT because we believe that it doesn't matter if the dog is a Best in Show winner as even when he returns home , we want him to be most of all a family member , trusted best friend to kids , friends and other dogs who come along . We want our puppies to be members of the family, best friends to kids, and social with other pets and dogs who come across their paths. Our children, along with the neighborhood kids play soccer with our dogs, play dress up or use them as "pillows". Our dogs enjoy every minute of their loving attention. They are incredibly stable and strive for the touch, attention and companionship of their family.

#3 BEAUTY. We are an active show kennel and even though Health and Temperament come first, we are discriminate in our breeding choices, ever mindful of the breed standard.
